Charlotka with apples is the simplest and tastiest apple pie that literally melts in your mouth, and this delicacy is prepared very quickly. An incredible aroma fills the entire kitchen, and it becomes so difficult to wait when you can already enjoy charlotte with a cup of tea.
This is the recipe that my mother taught me many years ago. A great option for baking with apples for every day, the ingredients are always at hand.
Ingredients
- The diameter of the form is 22 cm.
- Apples (preferably sour) - 500-600 grams
- Sugar - 160 grams
- Flour - 160 grams
- Eggs - 4 large (5 small)
- Salt - 1 pinch
Preparation
1. Cut the apples into pieces or cubes. Apples are better to take sour varieties.
2. Beat the eggs with sugar and 1 pinch of salt into a light thick mass. To make sure that the mass has already been well beaten, draw a line with a whisk, if it remains visible for 1-2 seconds and then spreads, then the eggs and sugar are already well beaten. If it spreads immediately, then you need to beat it more.
3. Sift the flour into the egg-sugar mixture and gently mix with a spatula from the bottom up. You need to work carefully with the biscuit dough to preserve its lightness as much as possible.
4. Line the form with parchment or grease with butter, sprinkle with flour. Pour ½ part of the dough, lay out half of the apples cut into slices, pour the dough on top and lay out the remaining apples. If you cut the apples into cubes, you can add them to the dough, mix gently, and then put the whole mass into a baking dish.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
